Hi, I have a three year old Mazda 6 and have encountered a problem with the electric windows on the drivers side. The drivers window has stopped working at all although there is a clicking noise from the motor in the door when you press the switch. The back door drivers side works intermittently, sometimes sticking, sometimes working if you

Failed wiring. Another issue that could be affecting your car window motor is faulty wiring. An electrical problem could cause bad behavior with the window system if the wires aren't working correctly. Wires that are cut would mean that the window can't go up or down. In addition, if you have a blown fuse, that could be the source of your problem.
Turn key on (press button twice without holding the brake, all lights on dash should come on) Press and HOLD driver's front window switch until window is all the way down. Pull up and HOLD switch for THREE SECONDS after window is all the way up. You might hear a *beep* noise. Repeat steps for each window if you have all auto windows.

The number of elements in the boxes and their purpose may differ from the one presented and depend on the year of manufacture and the level of equipment.
Driver side auto window stuck closed (Mazda3 2006 2.3L) This solution is only applicable to Mazda3 (2006) driver side AUTO window only. If you press down on the window switch and it makes a clicking noise both going up or down and it is drawing power/amps (lights go slightly dim) you probably have a driver side auto programming problem.

EZ fix, only took 10 years! This is an older thread, you may not receive a response, and could be reviving an old thread.
